You can easily connect to the PDS Online Seminars using your desktop or laptop computer, or using an iPad or tablet.
Desktop or Laptop Computer
You will receive an email prior to the seminar with a link and password for the session. About 15 minutes before the start time, click the link in the email to connect to the program. The preferred method to connect to the audio portion is your computer’s speakers and microphone (or a headset with microphone). Typically, your computer’s audio system will automatically connect to the program. If it does not, simply follow the onscreen instructions to connect to the audio.
If your computer does not have speakers and microphone, you can use a telephone to connect to the audio. Instructions will appear on screen. Due to the length of these programs, it is suggested that you use a speakerphone or headset. Also, while you can connect using a cell phone, please be aware that your cell phone battery may not be capable of continued connection for the length of the program, leaving you unable to complete the webinar.
iPad or Tablet
Both iPads and tablets require an app that can be downloaded free from the Apple Store (iPads) or from Google Play (Android tablets). Please search for the Webex app, then follow directions to connect. Both iPads and tablets will connect automatically using the system microphone and speakers.
